    I have not been here in decades, but have frequented here lately. The happy hour food is a great deal and the huge margarita is a must! The staff is super friendly and the drinks are super consistent. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Very hip Mexican restaurant!

    We had another great experience at Don Diego's last night! It was not crowded due to it being off season. We are so thankful they are open during this time! Once again the food, drinks and service was top notch! Armando is the best waiter on the planet!!! The rest of the staff we interacted with are fabulous as well. This is one of our go-to places in Palm Desert!

    The food was delicious. We had carnitas and chile rellenos. My friend had fried tacos and said they were the best she's had. The margaritas were huge with just the right amount of tequila. Our waiter Jose and Armando were so nice and amicable. Totally recommend.

    Mm , puppy and I had lunch here on the patio about a month ago and my review just disappeared so I am re writing it. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, atmosphere, margarita, and the fajita for two. The portion was huge and tasty. The beef was better than the chicken. Next time we will get all beef. We will be back for sure.
